Very pleased with the spring maintenance of a/c and checkout out of heating furnace. Very thorough and good with answering questions. Price for visit was also very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Always professional, courteous, and prompt. Sam's group does not disappoint with their services provided. The office is nice to set up a service call with and are very organized concerning any history involved with the customer.

Dennis did an awesome job. I have an older unit and he dived right in to it and diagnosed the problem and corrected it. He was very professional and customer service oriented. Great company!

Cody and staff were very professional and efficient. They did an excellent job at a fair and honest price. Scheduling appointments was easy, and their office staff was excellent.

Woke up this morning to no heat and a frozen unit. Called American and they had a tech out in less than 2 hours. They assessed the unit, discovered the problem and gave an estimate to fix it. They had to go to the shop for parts and were back quickly. Installed parts added coolant and all is good. Highly recommend American to anyone in need of HVAC needs. Very prompt, reasonably priced, great professional technicians.

So, I am giving them a 5 start simply because the owner, Sam made the situation right. I called because I had no heat, they worked me in that afternoon and the guy that came out, he had a good idea of the problem but I think he may have second guessed himself. He got the Heat running and it was fine. However, the following evening, the issue started again. There had been some confusion on someone Coming out and then it changed to them coming out on Saturday, but they had to cancel that appointment too. Anyways, I contacted Sam, he was very apologetic about it and refunded my money. I mean, it's hard to get a company to refund you but he did. Things just happened and I really needed heat with my health but I would recommend them to someone else.

American Heating and Air I by far the best AC heating company in the mountains of North Georgia and North Carolina!!.. the owner Sam is awesome and his crew including Cody and Daniel are amazing.. they always go the extra mile too makes sure every problem is solved.. I can't recommend this company enough.. So please call them bc you won't be disappointed!!

Cody installed a new unit for us after coming out to inspect our unit that was having some issues. They were able to get the new unit in and installed in such a reasonable time. They are very reasonably priced when we were searching for who to go with ! All around great people and would recommend their work !

Cody put in a whole new unit for us after moving into our home. He did a great job! Very polite and hard working was in and out in no time ! He came back out when we were ready to install a new thermostat and helped us set up the WiFi controlled part of the new thermostat. Definitely would recommend and we will be using them in the future for all our HVAC needs !

My AC stopped working so I called American. My call was quickly returned by the friendly office staff. Technician Daniel came out within 3 hours. He was professional and knowledgeable. Daniel explained all my options, and allowed me to choose with no pressure at all. He fixed both of my AC units at a very reasonable price. Thankful for American and will use them again!

My air stopped blowing so I called and the next morning Daniel Sheilds was out to fix it. He got it going for now. Unfortunately my unit is 26 years old. If it makes it through the remainder of this season if will be a miracle. So they are as we speak, working to get a new unit in next week.

Daniel was professional, and very nice. He is very knowledgeable and an asset to have. He explained everything to me and he answered any questions that I had.

My unit was from 1995 and was completely out of R22 which meant there was a leak. It would've been very expensive to charge it only to have it leak out again. Of course I had guests in town. They were able to install a new Condenser and Air Handler the next day and at a fair price. Sam is a good guy, and Dakota did a nice job with the install. Definitely recommend these guys.

THE BEST! Had a complete HVAC installed in my new little 1K sq ft home and Sam did what two other HVAC companies said couldn't (or wouldn't do). Our AC stopped blowing cold air on a Saturday afternoon during one of the hottest times of the year. I called on Sunday evening and was greeted by Randi who scheduled a service call on Monday morning. Sam arrived and immediately identified the problem and had my AC working perfectly within 45 minutes. Professional and courteous and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!!

Sam was friendly with my children when working at my house, and never once acted like they were a problem (like other contractors have in the past). American was extraordinarily prompt, thorough and knowledgeable - Sam showed up the next day after I called (and on time), diagnosed the whole system, and put together several options for us to consider. He was very patient with all our questions, helped us understand the system and what was important to ensure the repair would work for a long time. Once we aligned on what would be done, Same repaired my air conditioning compressor despite the weather, and was extremely thorough in ensuring all the potential issues were addressed. The cost was more than reasonable considering the equipment and extent of what was needed. All around, I am very pleased and trust American (especially Sam) to get it right.

American installed a Mitsubishi mini split unit for me and did an outstanding job. Cody primarily did the installation and not only does it work perfectly, it also looks great! Sam gave great recommendations on different options.... without his expertise and guidance I would have made not the best choices!

I finally selected a heating & A/C company that I was totally satisfied with after my service call. A first class operation from the receptionist Randy to the technician Sam. He went way beyond the furnace repair to checking all of the other components including the thermostat. A/C etc. Never once did he try to sell me an upgraded system or a service contract like the others. “You're good to go". The bill, well below was what I expected. A definite Keeper in my phone book.

Sam came out, quoted me a new AC unit, and had it installed two days later. Sam and his installation crew were very professional, showed up when they said, and did a great job for a fair price. I highly recommend American Heating & Air!

Called them when our air condtioner went out in July based on their high ratings. Was not disappointed - the staff were courteous, professional, efficient and quick to respond. They had to order a new fan and installed it as soon as it came in - worked perfectly. As we had only owned the house for a year, the service technician answered questions we had about our system and made recommendations on how to get additional years of service out of our 17 year old system. They charged a fair price for their work and gave me a military discount. I will call them for all of our Air Conditioning needs going forward and give them first shot when we need a new system down the road. Great service by nice people!

Called in the am. and Sam was in the Neiborhood, he stopped by looked over the system spoke to me about our heating concerns, diagnosed the problem, corrected it within an hour. The system runs like new. Pricing was fair and workmanship is excellent, our system is 6 years old, and he did not try to upsell something we did not require, when it's time for a changeout I will be calling American Heating and Air Conditioning.

Sam came out to us on same day as calling him.This was right b4 Thanksgiving and got our unit working properly. Another local co installed it new just few months b4 and couldn't figure out there own product (no heat). We are sold on Sam and will use him exclusively. Thanks Sam....

Called American Heating and Air to report our AC unit was not cooling our home. Sam responded immediately and said he would be right over to evaluate the problem. Within 30 minutes, he arrived and diagnosed our problem, replaced a broken part, removed freon (which another local company had dangerously overfilled) and all with a smile on his face! Price was extremely reasonable and the service was AMAZING!! Would highly recommend Sam's services to everyone!!!!
